Hint: The category which is at the highest level in taxonomy will have the smallest no. Of organisms with maximum common characters that is kingdom
The basic unit of classification that is species will have the largest no. Of organisms with maximum common characters.

Complete solution:
There are seven categories in classification:
>Kingdom
>Phylum
>Class
>Order
>Family
>Genus
>Species.
Kingdom is placed at the highest level in taxonomy. In this category there are only a few classifications. Distantly related organisms are also placed in the kingdom. So, in this category there will be very few common characteristics.
Species is a group of actually or potentially inbreeding populations reproductively isolated from other such groups. It has the lowest taxonomic characteristics. It consists of individuals which have fundamental similarities and can be distinguished from other closely related species due to distinct morphological characters.
> So, species contain the largest no. of organisms with maximum common characteristics.

Note: Classification is a process in which closely resembling organisms are placed in a group. The groups which have similarities are placed into larger groups. The various grouping levels or ranks in classification are known as taxonomic categories
Kingdom can be divided into plants and animals.
Species of genus solanum can be Solanum Tuberosum (potato).
