Hint: The fundamental frequency in the ripple of the half wave rectifier circuit is twice the input or the mains frequency. Due to rectification the output wave starts repeating itself in half of the time period with respect to the mains wave.

Complete step by step solution:
The half wave rectifier circuit is the circuit which blocks half cycle of the output wave to pass and allows only half cycle of the wave to pass through the circuit.
The half wave rectifier circuit is used to convert the AC voltage to the DC voltage. As in AC voltage the alignment of the wave gets reversed from positive to negative and vice versa in time half of the time period. But in DC voltage, the alignment of the wave is unidirectional.
The half wave rectifier needs a single diode to block the half cycle wave and to allow the other half cycle wave to pass through the circuit.
The diode allows current to flow in one direction only and that makes it able to get used in half wave rectifier circuits.
During the positive half cycle of the AC voltage, the diode of the half wave rectifier is forward biased hence, allows the flow of the electric current through the circuit.
During the negative half cycle of the AC voltage, the diode of the half wave rectifier is backward biased hence, blocks the flow of the electric current through the circuit.
In this way only half way cycle is allowed to pass through the circuit and the circuit is called half wave rectifier circuit.
As we know that, the fundamental frequency of the ripple voltage is twice for the full wave rectifier but for the half wave rectifier, the fundamental frequency of the ripple voltage is equal to the supply frequency.
Hence, in a half wave rectifier circuit operating from $50Hz$ main frequency the fundamental frequency in the ripple will be the same as the main frequency.

If the main frequency of the circuit is ${{f}_{o}}$
Then the fundamental frequency of the half wave rectifier circuit is given as $2{{f}_{o}}$
Here,
The frequency of the main supply is $50Hz$
Then the fundamental frequency of the ripple of the half wave rectifier is the same as frequency of the main supply.

Hence, the fundamental frequency in the half cycle rectified wave is $50Hz$.

Note:
The half wave rectifier circuit contains one diode.
The full wave rectifier circuit contains multiple diodes.
