Hint
The torch lamp consists of a lamp and inside it there is LED. Thus the torch light is possible to produce light when the LED works. For working we need current and check which option is related to it.

Complete step by step answer
We can study about the mechanism inside the torch light. The working of the torch light is powered by the battery. The flow of electrons from the positive electrode to the negative electrode will produce electric energy. There are two contact strips that are in contact at the switch position of the torch light. And one of the contact strips is long and connected to one side of the switch. And one of them is connected to the lamp. And the lamp is connected to the positive electrode of the battery. Inside the lamb is an LED which is called a light emitting diode.
Now, let’s see how it works. When the torch light is ON position, the contact strip is in contact. Thus the circuit is completed. When the electricity is supplied to the LED the light is emitted. A reflector is placed in front of the lamb. And the light produced from the LED will be reflected by the reflector. Thus a steady beam of light is possible through the reflector. And a clear lens was covering the lamb to protect it.
Thus, a torch light cell is used as a source of electrical energy.

The answer is option (A).

Note
If the contact strips inside the torch light are not in contact. Then the torch light is in OFF position. The circuit is not completed and the electrical current cannot flow through it.
