Hint: There are some signs that may include bleeding, cramping, nausea, bloating, headaches, mood swings.
Complete answer:
Implantation refers to the attachment of the fertilized egg to the uterine lining and it is also defined as the stage of parental development. It is the movement of the cells to a new region. In terms of embryology, the attachment of the early embryo to the lining of the uterus. The initial phase of the implantation process is called “adplantation”. Implantation is the early stage of pregnancy and it happens when a fertilized egg attaches to the uterus of women. The process of implantation occurs between 8-9 days after fertilization and as late as 12 days after ovulation. When a cluster rapidly divides cells which is known as a blastocyst and then, they make their own way down to the fallopian tube and get attached into the lining of the uterus. Then, after attaching, the newly hatched embryo starts releasing hormones that prepares a woman's body for a baby. Then the outer layer forms the part of the placenta and then a woman's body feels cramp. This is how implantation starts.
Additional information: Signs and symptoms of implantation process:
1) Vaginal bleeding and spotting start when the embryo implants itself in the uterus lining.
2) Mild uterine cramping caused due to hormonal shifts.
3) Headache and mood swings noticed because of hormonal changes and cramp in the body.
Note: In the recent years with the development, there is a growing interest in the implantation process with techniques that introduces blastocyst into the uterus so that the normal implantation process can take place.
