Hint: Kavaratti is one of the island parts of India known for its water-sport tourist attractions and the aquarium housing a rich variety of coral reefs, fishes and exotic marine life.

Complete answer: Kavaratti is the capital of the Union Territory of Lakshadweep. It is located in the Arabian Sea about 400km away from Kochi on the mainland.
Lakshadweep is an archipelago housing hundreds of small islands part of India administered as a Union territory. There are references to these islands from the first century itself ruled over by the major empires in southern India as Cholas and Mysore. Gradually, they went under the British and with the Independence of India restored as a union territory in 1973. The administration is under central government and most of the administrative bodies and infrastructure is in Kavaratti.
The administration is overlooked by an administrator (governor) appointed by the President of India, and the territory is divided into ten subdivisions. He is also in command of police and ensures law and order. Lakshadweep also elects one member to Lok Sabha. Jurisdiction of Lakshadweep comes under the Kerala High Court. Kavaratti is also home to an Indian Navy base called INS Dweeprakshak for ensuring security of the territorial waters.
Coconut cultivation and export of Tuna fish is central to the economy of islands. Alongside tourism is a major attraction with various water activities such as surfing, kayaking, canoeing and scuba diving. It also offers sea voyages. Lakshadweep also has coral atoll, meaning rings formed by reefs circling a lagoon. There are 36 islands present on these.
Hence, option B is the correct answer.

Note: Kavaratti is a part of the Smart Cities Mission launched by the Ministry of Urban Development aimed at re-planning and development of 100 Indian cities.
