If $y = \sin \left( {{{\log }_e}x} \right)$, then prove that $\dfrac{{dy}}{{dx}} = \dfrac{{\sqrt {1 - {y^2}} }}{x}$.

According to the question,
$y = \sin \left( {{{\log }_e}x} \right)$……………………..$\left( 1 \right)$
Now, differentiating both sides with respect to $x$ using the formula $\dfrac{{dy}}{{dx}}\sin x = \cos x$ and $\dfrac{{dy}}{{dx}}\log x = \dfrac{1}{x}$, we get
$ \Rightarrow \dfrac{{dy}}{{dx}} = \cos \left( {{{\log }_e}x} \right) \times \dfrac{{dy}}{{dx}}\left( {{{\log }_e}x} \right)$
$ \Rightarrow \dfrac{{dy}}{{dx}} = \cos \left( {{{\log }_e}x} \right) \times \dfrac{1}{x}$…………………………….$\left( 2 \right)$
Now, we know that, ${\cos ^2}\theta + {\sin ^2}\theta = 1$
This can also be written as:

$\dfrac{{dy}}{{dx}} = \dfrac{{\sqrt {1 - {y^2}} }}{x}$
