Firstly we started with cricket bat cost and gloves cost than leg pads cost and finally reached 3cricket ball cost. Using a unitary method we should find the cost of a cricket ball.

In this question, it is given that;
 The cost of a cricket bat is Rs 54.
\[\] $\because $ Cost of a cricket bat is Rs 54.
    $\therefore $ Cost of 2 cricket bats is Rs $2 \times 54 = 108$ .
    Cost of 2 cricket bat = cost of 3 pairs of gloves=108.
    $\because $Cost of 3 pairs of gloves is Rs 108.
   $\therefore $ Cost of a pair of gloves is Rs$\dfrac{{108}}{3} = 36$.

   Cost of 2 pairs of gloves = cost of 3 pairs of leg pads 72.
