Hint: Take 1 month as 30 days and then use the unitary method for this question, and find how many days 1 student will take to eat the whole stock and then see how many 27 students will take to do the same.

Complete step-by-step answer:
So we are given that 45 students can consume a stock of food in 2 months and we also know that 1 months will have 30 days which clearly means that 2 months will have \[2 \times 30 = 60days\]
So from here we can say that
If 45 students can consume a stock in 60 days
Then 1 student will consume the same stock in \[(45 \times 60)\] days
Which means that 27 students will take \[\dfrac{{(45 \times 60)}}{{27}}\] days
By solving further we are getting
\[\begin{array}{l}
 = \dfrac{{(45 \times 60)}}{{27}}\\
 = \dfrac{{5 \times 60}}{3}\\
 = 5 \times 20\\
 = 100days
\end{array}\]
Which means the answer is 100 days and option A is the correct option here.

Note: A lot of students will make mistakes while finding the unit value i.e., how many days 1 student will take to consume the same stock, they will divide 60 by 45 which is less than 1 and it is practically impossible. So here we have to multiply first to get how many days 1 student will take and then finally divide it by 27 to see how many days 27 students will take to consume the same amount of stock.
