Hint: Salts are formed when acid and base react and neutralize each other. By addition of water in the salt, the acid and base can be reproduced. The process of addition of water in salt is called hydrolysis of salts.

Complete step by step solution:
Hydrolysis of salts:
-It is a process in which salt reacts with water to give acid and base from which it is created.
-In this process , the cations and anions of salt dissociate to react with ${{H}^{+}}$ and $O{{H}^{-}}$ ion of water.
-Cation or anion of salt reacts with ions of water to produce acidic or basic or neutral solutions.
-This process is the reverse of the neutralization process.
-The $BA$is salt and the hydrolysis reaction is as follows:
$BA+{{H}_{2}}O\to HA+BOH$
The is $HA$ acid and $BOH$ is base.
(i) $NaN{{O}_{3}}$
The hydrolysis of $NaN{{O}_{3}}$salt reaction is as follows:
$NaN{{O}_{3}}+{{H}_{2}}O\to HN{{O}_{3}}+NaOH$
So, the $NaN{{O}_{3}}$ salt is obtained from $HN{{ O }_{3}}$ acid and $NaOH$ base.
Salt $NaN{{O}_{3}}$ is basic salt as it is formed from strong base and weak acid.
(ii) $N{{H}_{4}}Cl$
The hydrolysis of $N{{H}_{4}}Cl$ salt reaction is as follows:
$N{{H}_{4}}Cl+{{H}_{2}}O\to HCl+N{{H}_{4}}OH$
So, the $N{{H}_{4}}Cl$ salt is obtained from $HCl$ acid and $N{{H}_{4}}OH$ base.
Salt $N{{H}_{4}}Cl$ is acidic salt as it is formed from a strong acid and weak base.

Note: Strong acid and Strong base react to produce neutral salt and water. Acidic salt is formed when strong acid reacts with a weak base. The reaction of a weak acid and strong base leads to the production of basic salt and water. Weak acid and a weak base react to produce neutral salt and water.
