Hint: We have to know that antacid is a substance that neutralizes acidity of the stomach. An antacid is used to get rid of heartburn, indigestion (or) stomach upset. We have to identify the nature of soil using its pH. Acids have a sour taste and bases have a soapy feel. We know that quicklime, slaked lime and chalk are basic in nature.

Complete step by step solution:
We have to know that antacids are used to treat signs of additional stomach acids like reflux of acids, indigestion, and heartburn. Liquid, chewable gummy (or) tablet, tablet that dissolves in water to drink are the different forms of antacids.
An example of the name of an antacid is Magnesium hydroxide.
-The other name of magnesium hydroxide is milk of magnesia. During indigestion, our stomach forms too much acid and this leads to irritation. So, when we take a base along with it to neutralize the effect of additional acid and help to get rid of the indigestion and irritation.
-In our daily life, we utilize natural acids such as curd, lemon juice, vinegar and orange juice. These substances show sour taste and their chemical nature of these substances are acidic.
-Substances like baking soda have no sour taste whereas they give a bitter feel. It senses soapy and due to this nature they are called bases. We can say that the chemical nature of soapy and bitter substances is basic.
-Quicklime is called calcium oxide, slaked lime is called calcium hydroxide, and chalk is called calcium carbonate.
-We have to know that for the evolution of plants, the pH needed by the soil varies from $5.5 - 7$. So, if the soil is extremely acidic, then the soil would not be suitable for cultivation. The farmer would treat the soil by quicklime (or) chalk (or) slaked lime to increase the basicity of the soil.

Note:We have to remember that the formation of salt and water occurs when acid and base reacts with each other, the acid gets neutralized in the presence of base. We can call such a process a neutralization reaction, and heat is given out. The creation of new bonds in the reaction occurs because of the release of heat. Stronger the quantity of acid and base, the huge amount of heat is released.
