Hint: Hypertension is a major cause of premature deaths in the world. In total the world population every 1 in 4 men and 1 in 5 women having this condition. Nowadays hypertension is increased largely due to increased risk factors in populations in recent decades.
Complete answer: Hypertension, also called high or raised blood pressure, is a condition in which the pressure of blood flow in vessels has increased. Each time the heartbeats, it pumps blood into the blood vessels. Blood pressure is created by the blood pushing against the walls of blood vessels as it is pumped by the heart. Hypertension is a serious medical condition and can increase the risk of heart, brain, kidney, and other diseases.
Common factors that can lead to high blood pressure are-
1. A diet with high salt
2. Diabetes
3. High cholesterol
4. Old age
5. Overweight
6. Stress
7. Tobacco use
8. Drinking too much alcohol, and etc.
The high blood pressure can be reduced and make it normal by following these steps like losing weight, no smoking, proper diet, Exercising, reducing salt intake, reducing alcohol consumption, and learning stress relief methods
Note: There are two types of hypertension.
