How do humans perceive sound intensity?

Hint: The ear is the sense organ that helps auditory perception in our body. Know that it helps with body balancing as well. Sounds which are not within the normal limits of intensity cannot be perceived by the human ear. As the perception of loudness will vary depending on the frequency, it can be very technical.

1.In the human ear, there are mainly three sections. They are the middle ear, the outer ear, and the inner ear.
2.There is a pinna in the outer ear that is like a trumpet, which helps to collect sound waves from the environment.
3.The absorbed sound waves then pass through the external auditory meatus and vibrate the tympanum, which is also called the eardrum.
4. Three small bones, called malleus, incus, and stapes, consist of the middle ear. These bony ossicles then transmit vibrations to the cochlea in the inner ear, which helps to produce waves in the fluid inside the inner ear for auditory perception.
5.The intensity unit of sound waves is referred to in decibels. The sound intensity is between 40 and 60 decibels in a normal conversation. Hearing a very high-intensity sound provides our ears with an irritating feeling.
6.They call these sounds noise. High intensity sounds have over 80 decibels of intensity, such as traffic sounds.

Note:
A maximum of 120dB intensity can be perceived by the human ear even though it damages our ear. It can also collect volumes that are close to 0 dB. Be aware that the intensity of a soft whisper is around 30 dB.
