Hint : In order to calculate percent of any decimal, we need to multiply the decimal by 100 and the percent itself means divide the decimal by 100 if you do not divide then simply put the ‘ % ‘ sign, by following these steps we can find the desire result of writing decimal as a percent.

Formula Used:
$percent = decimal \times \dfrac{{100}}{{100}}$

Complete step by step answer:
Let we have given a fraction in the form of,where q is not equal to 0
Here, in this question we have given a fraction as $7.5$.
So, to calculate the percent from the decimal, we have to first just do the multiplication with the decimal value by 100 and we get, $7.5 \times 100$
Now the decimal point moves two places to the right from $7.5$to $750$.
$ = 750$
Now, divide the decimal by 100 to convert it into percent. If you do not divide then simply put the ‘ % ‘ sign.

Hence, the result is the $ = 750$ % in percentage.

Additional information:
If you don’t want to multiply 100 after dividing the number, we have another way to calculate percentage i.e. by moving the decimal point 2 places in the right. Now, moving the decimal point two places towards right and adding in the end of the result.

Note:
- Don’t forget to place a% sign at the end of the result.
- If you want to Increase a Number by y %:
Example: On the off chance that a number is expanded by, at that point it becomes 1.1 times of itself. On the off chance that a number is expanded by 30 %, at that point it becomes 1.3 times of itself.
- If you want to Decrease a Number by y %:
Example: On the off chance that a number is diminished by 10 %, at that point it becomes 0.90 times of itself. On the off chance that a number is diminished by 30 %, at that point it becomes 0.70 times of itself.
