Hint:
All the values which are in the form of $\dfrac{p}{q}$ called fraction or rational numbers where $q \ne 0$.Fractions are divided into part one part is numerator $\left( p \right)$ and other part is denominator $\left( q \right)$.
Complete step by step solution:
Given that –
Decimal Point Value is $0.85$
We know that when we remove decimal point then we get zeroes in the denominator of that number which are equal to the numbers which are present after decimal point in numbers so here we also do the same we will remove decimal point and we get the two zeroes in the denominator
Now we will remove decimal point from $0.85$
Now we get two zeroes in the denominator, after that the fraction is $\dfrac{{85}}{{100}}$
Which is the desired value which we want by converting the given decimal value
Therefor the fraction of $0.85$ is the $\dfrac{{85}}{{100}}$
After completely dividing the fraction we will get $\dfrac{{17}}{{20}}$ which is our required value therefore the fraction value of $0.85$ is the $\dfrac{{17}}{{20}}$.
Now we will change the $0.85$ into the Percent
Now for changing in the form of percent we will use the converted fraction which we got in above solution
Now we will multiply $\dfrac{{17}}{{20}}$ by $100$
$\dfrac{{17}}{{20}} \times 100 = 85\% $
Therefore the percentage form of $0.85$ is the $85\% $.
Additional Information: -
For changing any fraction value in the percentage we need multiply fraction by $100$ then get the percentage value of that fraction and by dividing any percentage from $100$ we got fractional value of that percentage value.
Note:
when we divide any number if the dividend is less than the divisor then we add zeros in the last of the dividend so we can divide easily and put a point before the quotient. For changing any decimal point value into percentage, first we have changed it into the fraction then by multiplying it with $100$ we get the percentage value.
