Given, \[63 - x = 2x + 3\] .
We transpose ‘3’ which is present in the right hand side of the equation to the left hand side of the equation by subtracting ‘3’ on the left hand side of the equation.
\[63 - x - 3 = 2x\]
Again we transpose \[ - x\] which is present in the left hand side of the equation to the right hand side of the equation by adding ‘x’ on the right hand side equation.
\[63 - 3 = 2x + x\]
Rearranging the equation we have,
\[2x + x = 63 - 3\]
Taking ‘x’ common on the left hand side of the equation,
\[x(2 + 1) = 63 - 3\]
\[3x = 60\]
We transpose 3 to the right hand side of the equation by dividing 3 on the right hand side of the equation.
\[x = \dfrac{{60}}{3}\]
