Hint: The heart is defined as a muscular organ in a human body that circulates and pumps blood to each and every part of the body. The human heart is composed of four chambers in the heart called ventricles and several other valves, which regulates the flow of blood into the heart.

The heart has to pump blood with an adequate rate so that the organs get sufficient blood for their normal functioning. the heart is categorised into two major halves majorly as right and left. The right side of the heart gets deoxygenated blood from the veins. It is then transported into the lungs, which oxygenates the blood and directs it to the left side of the heart, which circulates it to the rest of the body.
The cardiac output is defined as the amount of blood that is pumped per minute by each ventricle of the heart. It can be finding out using the formula, Cardiac output = heart rate x stroke volume
The heart rate is defined as the count of heartbeats in one minute. Similarly, stroke rate is termed as the amount of blood pumped by that ventricle each time it beats.
Now let us find out the cardiac output for the left ventricle for a person at rest.
The average heart rate of a person at rest = 72 beats per minute
The average stroke volume of a rest = 70ml
Therefore, cardiac output of a person is =72 x 70 = 50401/ min
Thus, the cardiac output or amount of blood pumped per minute by the left ventricle is found to be approximately 51/ min.
