Hint: Humans are having two eyes even though the final image obtained is one. Both eyes are helpful in gaining information about our surroundings. The main advantage of having two eyes is that the world is visible in three dimensions. The depth and distance is visible due to the positions of the eyes.

Complete step by step answer:
Because of having a double eye, the problem of parallax error in vision is reduced. It increases our depth perception and gives us evolutionary advantages. We can detect fainter bodies more distinctly. Humans are enjoying a stereoscopic vision because of the double eye. Both the human eyes are having symmetry. A wider field of view is obtained because of having two eyes. Humans are having a field of view from 150 degree to 180 degree. Some animals are having eyes positioned on the opposite sides of their heads. This will provide them a widest field of view. Human eyes are positioned in front of our heads and the field of view is small. If we had only one of our eyes, the world would have looked like a flat and two dimensional body. Because the two eyes separated by a small distance, gives us the view of three dimensional. Our brain can combine the images from both the eyes into one with the help of extra information. This will help us to understand how far and close things are. This kind of vision is known as binocular vision. Therefore the answer for this question has been obtained.

Note:
Amblyopia is the defect of the eye called a lazy eye. This is the condition that arises when the one or both the eyes is having abnormalities. These abnormalities are mainly seen in the infants or in children who are below 8 years. This condition develops if the section of the brain that causes the processing of the vision fails.
