Hint:
A government which is no longer considered fit to hold that position either because they are incompetent in other ways and do not meet responsibilities or make decisions inefficiently.

Complete answer:
A vote of "No Confidence Motion" against the Administration can be adopted only in the Lok Sabha according to Rule 198. The Indian constitution does not specify a motion of confidence or non-confidence. Article 75 seems to state that the Council of Ministers is jointly accountable to Lok Sabha. As a legislative resolution, it shows the Head of State that the elected Parliament no longer supports the one or more members of the designated government. In certain nations, if a no-confidence vote is passed against individual ministers, they must resign along with the whole Council of Ministers.

No confidence motion is not against a single minister it is for the whole government. The representative of the dominant party shall be appointed as Prime Minister by the President of India and the other ministers shall be nominated by the President on the recommendation of the Prime Minister.

A vote of no confidence will be approved if at least 50 representatives back a motion in the Chamber. The Speaker once fulfilled that the motion is in order and will ask the members of the House if the motion should be accepted. A 'no trust' vote against the government is to show that the party/alliance does not have a majority in Lok Sabha and hence has no right to proceed. If the motion is passed, then the coalition will collapse and then a new government will be established or mid-term elections will be called.

The Minister may either be fired by the President either on the recommendation of the Prime Minister or whether the President eliminates the government as a whole. The opposition will only focus more attention on the government to withdraw the cabinet or carry 'no confidence' to the government again to dismiss the whole government, including the ministers.

Note:
No-confidence motion not approved in the Rajya Sabha. It is opposed by the Council of Ministers as a whole and not by particular ministers or private representatives.
