Vermicomposting meaning: Worm composting is also known as vermicomposting and these are based on earthworms and microorganisms. The main function of vermicomposting is to convert organic waste into fertilizer and in return it increases the soils quality.

Casting is the by-product of vermicomposting, when worms digest organic waste, they excrete nutrient rich waste product that is known as casting.

One advantage of vermicomposting is:
1) Increase the yield and plant growth: Vermicomposting is considered as the non-synthetic fertilizer that is natural fertilizer. When these fertilizers are used it helps in the faster production of plants because of the improved soil conditions. Vermicomposting is better than the synthetic fertilizers.
