Hint: (A) Different types of silk moths yield different kinds of silk.
(B) After the crushing of sugarcane stalks, residues are left.
(C) Silkworms are reared to obtain silk from them.

Complete answer:
The silk yarn is obtained through sericulture from the silk moth. Different textures of silk yarn are obtained since there are a variety of silk moths that look very different from one another and the silk yarn they yield is also different in texture. This is how tassar silk, mooga silk, kosa silk, etc. are obtained from the cocoons of these different types of silk moths. Much of it is produced in Bhagalpur, Bihar, West Bengal, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, etc. Thus, Non-Mulberry silk produced in Madhya Pradesh is Tassar silk. The rejected cane after crushing is called Bagasse. It is the dry pulp that remains after sugarcane stalks are crushed to extract their juice. It is also a suitable raw material for the paper industry. $30\% $ of cellulose requirements come from agricultural residues. However, the collection of surplus bagasse poses a problem and makes paper units uneconomical since the mills are scattered all over the country. The rearing of silkworms to obtain silk from them is called sericulture. Caterpillars or silkworms after hatching from the larvae move into the next stage of their life history called pupa. Then first this pupa yields a net to hold itself, then it swings in the form of figure 8, during which a fiber made up of protein is secreted, which hardens on exposure to air and becomes silk fiber. And when it covers itself completely with silk fibers a cocoon is formed. Silk cloth is weaved through these silk fibers.

Note: Tassar silk is valued for its rich texture and natural deep gold color. Bagasse is also used as a biofuel for the production of heat, energy, and electricity and also in the manufacture of pulp and building materials. Sericulture or the culture of silkworms is a very old occupation in India. Plenty of silk is produced in India on a commercial scale.
