What?
1) Under the constitution of India, the Supreme Court of India is
     a) the highest judicial court and
     b) the final Court of Appeal,
     c) The highest civil court, with the right of judicial review.
2) India is a federal state and has a three-tier structure with a centralized and effective judicial system, that is

     b) High Courts, and

Composition of Supreme Courts:
1) Article 124(1) & the 2008 Amendment Act provided that there shall be a Supreme Court of India.
2) Article 124(2) specifies that any justice or judge of the Supreme Court shall be selected by the President by warrant under his hand and seal, after consulting the judges of the Supreme Court & High Courts.
3) At present, thirty-one judges constitute the Supreme Court
(a) One Chief Justice and thirty other Judges
4) Four Judges have been added by the Supreme Court (Number of judges) Bill of 2019.
(b) It increased the judicial power, including the Chief Justice of India, from 31 to 34
5) It is regulated by Parliament.
6) Sitting: The judges of the supreme court sit-in
a) benches of 2 or 3 called a Division Bench
b) When there are matters of fundamental questions of the law that are to be decided, benches of 5 or more called a Constitutional Bench.

a) The Current Chief Justice of India (CJI) is Sharad Arvind Bobde who took the office of CJI in 2019.
