Complete Answer:
Trees are important for us because they provide us life essentials like oxygen, food, clothing, shelter, medicines and tools. Now, we will discuss important uses of Sundari, Sandalwood and Rosewood tree.
A. Sundari: The Sundari is the prevalent mangrove tree genus of the Indian and Bangladesh Sunderbans. Described scientifically as Heritiera fomes, it is a mangrove genus in the Malvaceae family. With a girth of six feet, the Sundari tree can grow to 60 feet in height. It is a major timber producing tree. It has evidence that it has applications in traditional folk medicine and it is demonstrated by its widespread usage by local people and traditional health professionals for the treatment of diabetes, hepatic disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, goiter and skin diseases. A variety of studies have shown that there are important antioxidant, antinociceptive, antihyperglycemic, antimicrobial and anticancer activities in the Sundari tree.

B. Sandalwood: Sandalwood is a genus of dry deciduous forest native to China, India, Australia, Indonesia and the Philippines. With red wood and a number of dark colors of bark, this small tropical tree grows to 20m long (dark brown, reddish and dark grey). This tree is strong and durable. This tree is used for making fine furniture and carving. Sandal oil is also found in the heartwood and roots and is valued for use in perfumes, incense, cosmetics, soaps, and medicines. There is tannin in the bark, which is used for dyeing.

C. Rosewood: These trees are located on the western slopes of the Western Ghats. It is also possible to locate them in the mountain ranges of Jaintia and Khasi. Ebony, bamboo rosewood, and reeds are some of the trees which can be found in the Indian Tropical Forests. All rosewoods are solid and heavy, with an outstanding finish, ideal for guitars (fretboards also made of rosewood on electric and acoustic guitars), marimbas, recorders, turnery (billiard marks, fountain pens, black parts in chess sets, etc.), handles, chairs, luxurious flooring, etc. The rosewood oil used in perfume is derived from Aniba rosaeodora wood, which is not connected to the rosewood used in the woodworking process.

Note: Sundari trees are on the verge of extinction in West Bengal due to excessive deforestation for their high-value timber in the past and now with rising seawater. Net sandalwood distribution area of 9,000 sq km distributed over eight states, with Karnataka having a maximum area of 5,245 sq km in India. It has more than 19 species. Rosewood has around 300 species which are under trade restrictions.
