i. Sprinkler type of irrigation does not involve any type of loss of water by the means of seepage or evaporation, since water is supplied through the mode of pipes, and it is not exposed to the Sun as well.
ii. A tube well must be always installed in a region that is fertile and productive so that the rate of construction and operation of tube wells can easily be covered. Plus, for perennial water supply to the crops as well.
iii. Canal irrigation is said to be more suitable in the Northern Plains as here the rivers flow through flat terrain and are also perennial.
