Hint: This question requires a quick summary of the story and a detailed description about what happened between Baldeo and the Tiger and the outcome of the encounter.

Complete step by step answer:
This is a story about a man Baldeo and his son Tembu. They belonged to a humble background. Baldeo took up a job at a station as a night-watchman and his duty was to ensure that the oil-lamp at the tunnel ahead of the station was always lit to assist the train drivers.
This station was located in a forest which was rumoured to be a dwelling of a tiger which was a ‘man-eater’. But, Baldeo was a brave man and had faith in his ability and his ancestral axe to deal with such situations.
One fateful night, when Baldeo goes out of his hut to check the oil-lamp, he finds out the ‘man-eater’ there at the tunnel. Rather than running away, he decides to fight this beast. When the tiger attacks Baldeo, he leaps to his side and wounds the tiger’s shoulder with his axe, which makes it more ferocious. The tiger again lunges at Baldeo and he responds in the same manner, but this time the axe gets stuck in the tiger's shoulder bone and leaves Baldeo weaponless. The tiger attacks him this time and tears him apart with his claws. But this entire process leaves the tiger in deep pain and it sits there licking its own wounds and doesn’t realize an approaching train. The train rams over the tiger cutting it into two halves.
Thus, Baldeo’s courage eventually kills the ‘man-eater’, though, at the cost of his own life.

Note:
The story is a narration of the bravery of a simple villager and how he helps everyone get rid of a beast.
