Hint: Rainfall is uneven all over India as some parts receive heavy and good rainfall and some receive much less. Distribution of rainfall can be classified into four phases:-
(I) Areas receive heavy rainfall.
(Il) Areas receive low rainfall.
(III) Areas receives Medium rainfall
(IV)Areas receive inadequate rainfall.

Complete answer:
The heavy rainfall in India is received by the northeastern coasts and northwestern coasts; these both areas consumed about 400 cm of rainfall. Mainly in Central India rainfall is much less in the western Rajasthan and adjoining parts of Gujrat, Punjab, and Haryana about 60 cm of rainfall received here in a year(annually). But the point to notice is the average rainfall of a country is 125 cm. Rainfall is evenly low at some places like the Deccan plateau and the eastern part of Sahyadri. Area of inadequate rainfall is part of the peninsula especially in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra. Area of Inadequate receives less than 50 cm of rainfall yearly(annually). The big reason for rain is the trees rainfall occurs in a green area in good amount and in a dry area it occurs less and also so late. The heavy amount of trees and greenery invites rainfall soon and it gives the moisture and water storage in the soil as water level increases decrease due to rainfalls.

Note: All over we can say the rainfall is dependent on the balancing of environment and Afforestation.Due to imbalance in the environment, it does not occur evenly which is not a good sign for the future. Decreasing the number of forests is the big reason for the occurrence of rainfall unevenly.
