Hint: Now the science has developed in such a way that we can even design a human with the characters which we desire and want to see in an individual. This designing can be done easily with the help of genetic engineering and recombinant DNA technology.

Complete answer:
These both terms are associated with the field of biotechnology where biology is infused with technology and great endeavors are achieved. The genetic engineering is a technique in which genetic makeup of any individual can be changed or modified with the help of specific tools and using the recombinant DNA technology. The new genetic makeup of that individual is now known as the recombinant genetic makeup. All the experiments of genetic engineering require the use of RDT.
The RDT is a technique in which two desired DNA of different individuals are combined together to form a resulting superior DNA. To perform RDT first of all the desired gene or DNA is identified in an individual. Now this chosen DNA can be any good quality of that species and it can be infused with the DNA of another individual in which this character is absent.
For infusing both the DNA, a specific host is chosen and the DNA is inserted into the nucleus of that host where it gets mixed with our superior DNA. After the mixing the DNA is extracted and inserted into our receiver. Hence, we get the recombinant DNA.

Note:
The recombinant DNA technology has found its way in many industries like the food industry, medical field and also in the agricultural fields. The RDT has been used to create artificial insulin to treat the diabetic patients. It is also used to create insect resistant plants and prevent the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals.
