Option A, Iltutmish also known as Altamsh was the third greatest sultan of Delhi of the Slave dynasty. It is believed that he was sold in slavery but decided to marry the daughter of his master Qutub al-din Aibak. He made great efforts towards strengthening of the Muslim empire in the North India and shifted the capital to Delhi. He built the famous tower in Delhi, i.e. Qutub Minar and succeeded Qutub ud-din Aibak in the year 1211. So, it is not the correct answer.

Option B, Balban is known to be the slave of Iltutmish who was the ninth sultan of the Mamluk dynasty of Delhi and ruled during 1266 to 1287. So, it is also not the correct answer.

Option C, Qutub ud-din Aibak was the first ruler and founder of Delhi Sultanate in the year 1206. He ruled the reign from 25th June 1206 to 1210/1211 and was succeeded by Iltutmish. He was born in Turkish family and was sold as a slave in the childhood itself but grew up in the shade of Qazi who treated him like his own son. At the end, he was finally bought by the ruler Ghor of Afghanistan and was considered a trusted slave of Sultan Ghori. Thus, it is the correct answer.

Option D, Mohammed Ghori was born in Ghor, Afghanistan and was the ruler of the Ghurid Empire who ruled during 1173 to 1202 with his brother Ghiyath ad-Din Muhammad and ruled alone from 1202 to 1206. He was overthrown by Bhima II who was a Solanki ruler of Gujarat. So, it is also not the correct answer.
