Hint: He was born during the Nizam rule in the Deccan region of India. Before taking part in the initiation of the Bhoodan Movement, he was practising as a lawyer.

Complete answer:
The Bhoodan Movement is also known as the Bloodless movement and it was a land donation movement started by Acharya Vinoba Bhave in Andhra Pradesh in April of 1951.

Vedire Ramachandra Reddy was a social worker. He was the first person to donate land to the poor under the Bhoodan movement in 1951.

He was given the title of Bhoodan due to the contribution that he made in the commencement of the land reforms movement of the early 1950s in Andhra Pradesh. The movement commenced from a village called Pochampally in the Nalgonda district. The first donation that Vedire made was of a hundred acres (four lakh m2, later eight hundred acres (3.2 km2). Eventually, ten lakh acres (four thousand km²) of land was donated and distributed among the poor in Independent India.

Reddy was born on July 13, 1905, into a prominent family during the Nizam Rule in Deccan and he completed his training in law, at Ferguson Law college in Pune. After practising law for a few years, he gave his resignation. He then began to work for social causes and helped other Indian leaders in initiating the land reforms movement in 1951. Vedire Ramachandra Reddy passed away on December 9, 1986.

Thus, the correct answer is Option (B) Vedire Ramachandra Reddy

Note:
This movement basically persuaded wealthy landowners to donate some portion of their land to the poor and the landless peasants. The Bhoodan movement was strongly supported by the Indian National Congress. After being active for almost ten years, the movement lost its momentum in the 1960s.
