Hint: To solve this question we have to follow that step by step approach. First we will take the number 27 and then reverse it, by reversing here we mean reverse the digits of the number from right to left. And then we will follow the second step i.e. divide the number by 3 and after that we will again reverse the obtained number by the same methodology that we followed in the first step. Now the number that we obtained is the final answer.

Complete step by step answer:
According to the question we have to take the number 27,
So assume we have number 27,
Now we have to reverse it,
By reversing here, we mean we have to reverse the digits of the given number from right to left,
So reversing the 27, we get
72,
Now according to second step we have to divide the number by 3,
So we get
= $\dfrac{72}{3}$
= 24
Now again we have to reverse the number,
So reversing the number 24 we get
42

So, the correct answer is “Option B”.

Note: When you are given questions like this i.e. steps are mentioned in the question itself then try to follow the step by step approach only and try not to skip any step otherwise you may end up with the wrong answer. And also remember the mentioned method or technique of reversing the number and what do we mean here by reversing.
