Upon reaction with a base these ionised parts could form different products, depending on the chemical formula of the base.

If we consider the question we can see that it asks us the product of a reaction which takes place between dichlorine hexoxide and sodium hydroxide.

Now if we consider the second reactant in the question, it is sodium hydroxide, which is a well-known base. It has a hydroxide group which could be liberated very easily and so it is a type of strong base. Now if we consider the reaction which is given in the question, it will proceed as follows,
