Hint: The central nervous system is constituted by brain and spinal cord. The brain is responsible for sending, receiving, processing, and directing information. Forebrain, midbrain, and hindbrain are its three parts.

Complete Answer:
- The cerebrum is present in the highest area of the brain (fore brain). It is split into the left and right cerebral hemispheres by a central fissure, which is connected by a nerve fiber tract called corpus callosum. The brain is responsible for receiving and transmitting input from all sense organs to regulate the body.
- The cerebellum or the little brain is a part of the hindbrain. It is responsible for coordination of different types of voluntary movements. A number of functions like motor skills- balancing, coordinating and posture maintenance are the main functions.
- Thalamus is a sensory connection for the rest of the brain and is important because of its connections with parts of limbic-system. Hypothalamus is present below thalamus. Both thalamus and hypothalamus are parts of the forebrain (diencephalon).

Thus, the odd one is: Cerebellum.
Hind brain has cerebellum, pons and cerebellum. Whereas, cerebrum, thalamus and hypothalamus are parts of forebrain.

Note: The brainstem is present in the distal (end) part of the brain which consists of midbrain, pons and medulla oblongata. All of them have their defined structure as well as function. They are responsible for regulating many important functions like blood pressure, heart rate, breathing.
