Hint: We need all common multiple between 6 and 9. The best methods will be by using the table form method. where we use prime numbers to divide the numbers to get the multiples.

Complete step by step solution:
(i)Construct a table and arrange the given numbers as shown

LCM of these two numbers269
339
313
11

Find the common multiples.
The common multiples = 2,3,3.
Product of the common multiples is the L.C.M
 Hence, L.C.M of 6 and 9 is 18.

Additional Information: L.C.M stands for Lowest Common Multiple. Here, we use the prime numbers for factorization. 1 is not a prime number nor a composite number.

Note: The table form method we used was dividing the two terms given to us with prime numbers. The division between the two terms using the prime numbers should be done in such a way that the multiple used to divide the numbers should be common. but, even if the numbers are not common we can proceed anyway with the division since L.C.M is the lowest common multiple of both the terms.
