Hint: Velocity is defined as the magnitude of speed with direction or we can say t=rate of change of distance with direction. Velocity can be of different types but the most common two types are average velocity and instantaneous velocity. Average velocity is the mean of all the velocities for that duration of time and instantaneous velocity is the velocity at that particular instant of time.

Complete answer:
In the above question we are given with a distance and the duration in which the distance is covered. First step to solve any question is to write the given quantities
We have Distance (D) = 360kms
Time taken (T) = 6 hours
Now we know the formula to calculate the speed which is given as
$speed=\dfrac{dis\tan ce}{time}$
$speed=\dfrac{360km}{6hours}$
Speed= 60km/h
To convert this into meters per second we need to convert Kilometers into meters and time from hour to seconds.
We know 1km=1000m
And 1 hours=60 min
And 1 min=60 seconds
So 360km will be equal to 360000 meters
And 6 hours = 21600 seconds
Not to get velocity in m/s we will use the same formula
$speed=\dfrac{dis\tan ce}{time}$
$speed=\dfrac{360000m}{21600\sec }$
Speed= 16.6m/s
Hence these are our required answers.

Note:
To convert any unit from km/h to m/s we have a shortcut method here, whenever you are given a velocity or speed in m/s then multiply that value by $\dfrac{5}{18}$ and you will get your required speed in m/s. for example let's take the above value of 60km/h and you need to convert it into m/s then multiply the value (60km/h) by $\dfrac{5}{18}$ and we will get the required speed in m/s which is 16.66m/s.
