Hint: Here, we will use the fact that lakh is an Indian numbering unit and 1 lakh is equivalent to hundreds of thousands. So, we will write 1 lakh in terms of thousands and then we will multiply suitable multiples of 10 to get the required number of ten thousand to form 1 lakh.

Complete step by step solution:
There are generally two type of numbering system i.e. International numbering system and Indian numbering system. In international numbering units, 1 million stands equivalent to thousands of thousands. 1 billion stands equivalent to thousands of million. In Indian numbering unit, 1 lakh stands equivalent to hundreds of thousands. 1 crore stands equivalent to hundreds of lakh. 1 million is equal to 10 lakhs. 1 billion is equal to 10000 lakhs or 1 billion is equal to 100 crores.
We know that 1 lakh stands equivalent to hundreds of thousands.
So we will write the above relation in the number form. Therefore, we get
1 lakh$= 100,000$
We know that ten thousand is equal to the tens of thousand i.e. 10,000. Therefore by using this we will get the number of ten thousand which is equal to 1 lakh. Therefore, we get
$\Rightarrow$ 1 lakh $= 10 \times {\rm{10000}}$
$\Rightarrow$ 1 lakh $= 10 \times$ ten thousands
Therefore, ten of ten thousand is equivalent to 1 lakh.

Hence, 1 lakh $=$ 10 ten thousand.

Note:
Generally, all over the world the International numbering system is followed and Indian numbering system is only followed in India. But in an international transaction, at that time we follow the international number system or while representing some data globally all over the world then also we use the international number system.
