Hint: Eyes, nose, tongue, and ear are the part of our face, they are also considered as the sensory organs. They have many receptors in their surface that help them to produce stimuli and produce neurotransmission in form of signal.

Complete Answer:
A) Telereceptors are receptors where the origin of the stimulus comes from a distance, (eg, vision, audition).
B) The number of taste buds within the papillae varies, with each bud containing several specialized taste cells (gustatory receptor cells) for the transduction of taste stimuli.
C) Exteroreceptors – For information from the external world are placed mainly in the skin (hair cells of inner ear and retinal photoreceptors are in the special subgroup of the exteroreceptors.
D) Interoceptors are sensory receptors which receive stimuli from within the body, especially from the gut and other internal organs.

(I) All the functions of the ear are maintained by the receptors found inside the ear.
- The cochlea consists of a receptor organ called the organ of corti that has hair cells. These hair cells get stimulated when the sound is transformed into force, in this process endolymph and perilymph fluids found in the cochlea are involved during the stimulation process.
- Another receptor of the ear is the vestibular system found in the inner part of the ear that is responsible for the coordination and balance of head and eye fixation.
- The middle ear consists of three bones malleus, incus, and stapes, and the inner ear helps to translate the sound to electrical stimuli and make it recognizable.

(II) Human eye is one of the vital organs of the human body. The eye is slightly asymmetrical in structure and includes different parts that help us to see things.
- The inner part comprises light sensing cells that are the retina, it helps in conversion of light to electric impulse.
- Unlike ears, the eye also has receptors that are called photoreceptors, the cones and rods are the photoreceptor cells found in the retina. The rods help in the side or the night vision and it is very sensitive to light while the cones help in detecting colour, sharp vision, and detailing of the vision.

Hence, the correct answer is ‘A’ Tele Receptor.

Note: Tele Receptor is a subgroup of Exteroreceptors.
The gustatory receptors are found in the taste buds of the tongue. It helps in the transduction of the stimuli of taste when we eat something. These receptors produce neurotransmitters when food gets in contact with the surface of the tongue.
