- Hint: In this question first we try to understand the defect of myopia and due to this effect at where the formation of image occurred in the eye then we will see which type of lens we can use to correct this effect.

Complete step-by-step solution -
Let’s make the labeled ray diagram of myopia

Let’s take this figure as figure 1
Myopia is a vision disorder in which a person sees all the objects in the vicinity but is unable to see the distinct object comfortably and his eye is known as myopia. Beyond the point, a myopic eye has its remote pint. This constitutes the vision of a distinct entity before the retina as shown in figure 1.
Myopia can be caused by
Increase in curvature if the lens.
Increase in the length of the eyeball.

Since the concave lens has the potential to diverge incoming rays, we used it to correct the vision defect. The picture will form at thy retina by using a concave lens with the correct power.

Note: Like myopia, there are more defects like hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia, hyperopia occurs when light rays penetrate the eye focus behind the retina, rather than directly on it. With glasses, this defect can be fixed to change the way light rays bend into the eyes.
In Astigmatism, instead of the cornea being asymmetrically circular, it is more shaped like a rugby ball, typically causing vision to be blurred or distorted at all distances to some degree. Astigmatism and Myopia or Hyperopia are commonly mixed.
It is commonly assumed that presbyopia results from a progressive thickening and loss of flexibility of the natural lens inside your eye.
