Hint:Any system that transforms one form of energy into another form may be called as a transducer. Loss of signal intensity while propagating through a medium is called attenuation. With a variety of lower loss components, signal attenuation may be minimised at an increased cost rather than minimising the routing duration of the PCB. a) Transducer: The process through which a transducer transforms energy is known as transduction.The two types of most common transducers are mechanical and electrical transducers. One of the processes to reduce attenuation is amplification.
