Complete answer:
Industrialization:
The era of social and economic transition that transforms a human group from an agrarian society to an industrial society is known as industrialization (or industrialization). This entails a significant reorganization of an economy in order to facilitate manufacturing. Historically, industrialization has been linked to the growth of polluting industries that rely heavily on fossil fuels; however, with a growing emphasis on sustainable development and green industrial policy practices, industrialization is increasingly characterized by technological leapfrogging, with direct investment in more advanced, cleaner technologies.
The growth and spread of Heavy Industries have been aided by advances in science and technology. These days, human development is calculated in terms of industrial potential and prosperity.
Industrialization, on the other hand, has both benefits and drawbacks.
Advantages of industrialization:
i) Industry development has resulted in large-scale manufacturing of products that are available to consumers at significantly lower prices.
ii) There is a time and labour saving.
iii) People's living standards have risen significantly as a result of industrialization.
iv) There are a variety of consumer goods alternatives available. Customers have a wide range of options.
v) There are ways to manage and track the enormous waste of human resources that could be put to better use.
Disadvantages of industrialization:
i) The immediate consequence is the loss of many natural resources, as well as contamination of soil, water, and air.
ii) Noise emissions, dust, and smoke have been added as a result of increased vehicular traffic, the launch of spaceships and rockets by competing nations, and the constant running of machines in factories.
iii) Human wellbeing and enjoyment have been harmed as a result of the generally filthy and unsafe conditions in and around industrial sites. Diseases that have never been seen before are sweeping the globe.
iv)In factories, there have been cases of child Labour.
v) The rich's exploitation of the poor has increased violence, alienation, and a sense of loneliness among the poor.
Note: It is past time to place a greater focus on a planned and sustainable industrialization that recognizes environmental sustainability. Man should be less reliant on machines, which, after becoming a slave, appear to become masters. Excessive reliance on machines renders man inadequate for a variety of tasks and makes him a helpless person. Heavy industries and cottage industries must balance one another in order for long-term growth to be possible. It will be a good step forward. It will use local and regional resources and recruit local and regional Labour.
