Compulsion means someone has an irresistible or uncontrollable desire to perform a specific action. for e.g. Someone has an addiction of urging to find drugs and use it. This type of behavior is described as compulsive drug seeking. Cravings are like hunger or thirst of humans. To an addicted person, drugs become as vital as food and air. If the cravings of a person can’t get fulfilled, it causes insomnia.
Consequences refers to the situation when one continues to use drugs despite an awareness of negative results. Control when a person is unable to exercise any restraint when it comes to their drug using habits, a serve addiction. Our support systems and treatment experiences are the major cause of addiction. Lack of a proper reliable support system may cause the one to be in depression, making drugs to be their only friend via life.

Note: The main cause of addiction is the environment addiction i.e. peers play a very important role in both adolescent and adult behaviors. Genetics and addiction also work parallelly. Addiction is also due to the physical factors, mostly within the brain. Neurotransmitters are negatively affected when a foreign chemical substance is used.
