Hint:Excretion is one of the essential living processes of every organism and the process varies from one organism to another.

Complete answer:
Excretion is defined as a process wherein the human body removes out all the waste products which otherwise would lead to bioaccumulation thereby deteriorating human health. The process is performed through different parts and internal organs through a series of processes.

A human body is a complex machine wherein different life-processes such as circulation, respiration, and digestion, etc. takes place simultaneously. Thus, a wide array of waste products is generated including water, carbon dioxide, and nitrogenous waste products such as ammonia, uric acid, and urea.

Besides these, certain other wastes such as medication and hormonal products are even produced within the human body. Kidneys contain structural functional units or nephrons where the blood undergoes the process of filtration. Every kidney contains millions of copies of nephrons. The kidney capillaries help in the blood filtration process wherein the essential solutes such as amino acids, glucose, and salts etc. are reabsorbed within the blood to enter the circulation.

Whatever excessive quantities of the wastes and other nitrogenous substances remain back are later converted into urine which ultimately enters the urinary bladder. The Central Nervous System is the chief responsible for controlling the opening and closing process of the urinary system. As soon as the brain directs it to contract and open up, the urinary opening or urethra opens up to flush out the urine content from the body.

Note:Under abnormal conditions, the kidneys lose its functionality to accomplish its routine tasks. In such situations, your doctor recommends you to go for a dialysis wherein the artificial kidneys perform this job for you.
