In humans, a total of 32 teeth are present. Basically, there are four kinds of incisors, premolars, canines, and molars. Each tooth is positioned at a specific position and has a specific role. The upper jaw (maxilla) or the lower jaw (mandible) are found in each tooth and are surrounded by gums.
