Complete answer
SCID
- This condition is mainly seen in newborn babies and it is rarely seen where babies are born without an immune system mainly with the lack of T or B lymphocytes, this is the main cell fight with the Bacteria virus, it is not a condition that spreads from one person to another.

- It is seen 1 in one lakh children, some research saying that marriages of parents in close relatives cause some genetic problems may result in this type of disease.

- Treatment for this condition is blood transplant from a healthy donor for T and B lymphocytes, live vaccines should be avoided.

AIDS
- This condition is the main cause in people exposed to human immunodeficiency virus.

- This is a sexually transmitted disease, and it is seen with people who are infected with HIV containing blood.

- In the first few weeks of exposure, the patient develops flu-like symptoms.

- In this condition the virus mainly destroys the CD4 T cells, which are main cells of the immune system and progressively this virus destroys the whole immune system.

- There is no particular cure or treatment for this disease but regular use of antiretroviral drugs. May slow down the progress of the disease and helps to prevent secondary infections.

Note: Though both are different from each other, they mainly affect the immune system but one is genetically related and another is sexually transmitted but doesn’t have any relation to each other.
