Hint: In a third person sentence, the speaker talks to the listener about a third person, object, etc. A sentence in the present tense tells us about an activity that is occurring presently.

Complete answer:
The 1st person sentences are those in which the speaker talks about himself or herself. For e.g. I eat chocolates.
The 2nd person sentences are those in which the speaker talks directly to the receiver (or the reader, in case of text). For e.g. You eat chocolates.
The 3rd person sentences are those in which the speaker or writer talks to the listener or the reader about some other person (i.e. a 3rd person), hence the name. When the speaker talks about a 3rd person, the 3rd person may be a male, female, groups of people, a non-living object or plural non-living objects.
To form the 3rd person form of the verb, we take the base form and add –s to it. But we do not add –s in case of plural objects. For e.g.

Some examples of 3rd person sentences, written in present tense are;
- He eats chocolate. (Male)
- She eats chocolate. (Female)
- They eat chocolate. (Plural people)
- It is a good chocolate. (Single object)

Note:
i) When we write 3rd person sentences in the past tense, we use the 2nd form or the simple past tense of the verb. Ex:He/she/they ate chocolates.
ii) When we write 3rd person sentences in the past perfect tense, we use the 3rd form or the past participle form of the verb.
Ex: He/she has eaten the chocolate.
They have eaten the chocolate.
