Famine, Natural disaster, Glacier melting, and water shortage. But there is one solution to all that environmental crisis is to encourage afforestation and discourage deforestation. Trees are very helpful to solve our all environmental crisis. Some roles of trees that help to overcome the environmental crisis.
1. By the transpiration process the underground water is available in the air in the form of water vapours. Trees help in increasing the amount of water vapor in the air which in the end result in rain.
2. Tress not only takes carbon dioxide but it also takes other harmful gases which result in global warming. The other gases that trees take are carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide.
3. It helps to clean the environment by releasing oxygen and absorbing harmful gases.
Looking at today’s environmental condition and the role of trees there is again a need for a movement like the chipko movement.
