Mollusca is a phylum which consists of soft-bodied invertebrates that are partly or wholly enclosed in a calcium carbonate shell secreted by a soft mantle covering the body. Porifera are the pore bearing multicellular organisms. Therefore, earthworms belong to Annelida.
