Harvest festivals are celebrated by different names in different regions however the purpose of celebrating them is always the same these include Lori, onam and Pongal. Holi Diwali celebrated by Hindus Eid by Muslim Christmas by Christians Ganpati is the main festival of Maharashtra Navratri is of Gujarat Pongal is celebrated in Tamilnadu, Onam is celebrated in Kerala, Lohri is the festival of Punjab.It is an event celebrated by a community centre in some characteristic related to their religion or cultural beliefs.
