Hint:A broad plateau covering much of South India is the Deccan Plateau. It is triangular, with three mountain ranges surrounding it. It spans eight Indian states (principally, Telangana, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu).
The plateau occupies 422,000 square kilometers (163,000 sq mi), 43% of the landmass of India.
There are many habitats on the plateau which are incredibly large: diverse ecosystems with different kinds of vegetation, climate, geology and animals. The trees are older than the Himalayan mountains on the plateau.

Complete answer:
A) Bombay high:- The Bombay High field (now Mumbai High) is an offshore oil field situated in the Arabian Sea, about 160 km west of the coast of Mumbai, India. The field was discovered in 1974 and began production in 1976 and is operated by the Oil and Natural Gas Company (ONGC).
B) Konkan coast:- Often known as the Konkan Coast, Konkan is a rugged portion of India's western coastline. Konkan continues from Damon in the Gulf of Cambay from the north, stretches southward all along Maharashtra and Goa's western seaside land areas, and reaches the coast of Kanara in the Karwar district of Karnataka.
C) Bengaluru:- The capital of the Indian state of Karnataka is known officially as Bengaluru. It is the third most populated city and fifth most populous urban agglomeration in India, with a population of more than 8 million and a metropolitan population of around 11 million.

Note:Between 60 and 68 million years ago, at the end of the Cretaceous period, the Deccan Traps formed. The majority of the volcanic eruption occurred some 66 million years ago in the Western Ghats (near present-day Mumbai). This sequence of eruptions may have lasted for a total of less than 30,000 years.
Millions of years ago, molten rock (lava) erupted from below the surface of the Earth and spread to the ground. The lava spread out and on the surface it hardened into a layer of rock.
