Hint :Here, we are given the loud note and the soft note and have to define the difference between them. Loudness is defined as the greater the amplitude is the greater will be the loudness. Small amplitude means small will be the loudness. Draw the suitable diagram and show the difference.

As we have been told, there are loud notes and soft notes. We have the specific diagram to explain the difference between the two notes as shown in the figure.
In the above diagram, we can see that amplitudes have the difference i.e. $ {A_1} > {A_2} $
Loudness of the wave is directly proportional to the square of the amplitude. The greater is the amplitude the greater will be the loudness.
Let us now take a look at the above diagram, in the above diagram we can see that in diagram $ (1) $ amplitude is larger than that of the amplitude of the $ (2) $ . Thus, we can say that the diagram $ (1) $ is the wave of loud note and diagram $ (2) $ is the wave of soft note. Soft note has a lesser amplitude than that of the loud note.
In this way, the wave patterns differ from each other by amplitude. Larger the amplitude is, greater will be the loudness and for softness the less amplitude is required.
