Hint: India's climate is defined as the 'monsoon' kind. This type of climate is found in Asia, mostly in the south and southeast.

Complete step by step answer:
South-west monsoons are the winds that provide India with rainfall intensity. Due to the high pressure produced in the Indian Ocean, these winds carry rain towards the end of the summer. They split into divisions when they reach India. As the sun shifts northward, particularly in northern India, the temperature increases rapidly. At both the lower and the upper stages, the wind circulation over the subcontinent undergoes a complete reversal.
The rain starts quite abruptly in the South-West monsoon season. This sudden onset of the moisture-laden winds coupled with violent thunder and lightning is also termed as the “ break ” or “ burst ”of the monsoons. The mean date for the monsoon burst across the Kerala coast is 1 June, with a one-week coefficient of variation. By the first week of July, it enters the interior parts of the world. The south-west monsoon engulfs the whole subcontinent in mid-July. The period from June to September is known as the period of the 'Southwest Monsoon.' The Indian subcontinent's main rainy season is the Southwest Monsoon time. This is the time of the summer monsoon in which the southwestern monsoon hangs over the region. The whole country receives nearly 75 percent of its rainfall during this time
The Southwest Monsoon's Arabian Sea Branch first reaches the coastal state of Kerala, India's the Western Ghats, thus causing this region the first to receive rain from the southwest monsoon. This monsoon branch is heading northward to the western side. The south-western monsoon branch of the Bay of Bengal enters north-east India.

Note: The Southwest Monsoon's Arabian Sea Branch first reaches the Western Ghats of Kerala, India's coastal state, making this region the first state in India to begin receiving rain from the Southwest Monsoon
