
How does solar energy cause wind?

Hint: Sun is the source of energy, the light and heat which we receive from the sun in terms of energy is called solar energy. Sun plays a vital role in providing us with the basic elements of Earth.

The movement of gas particles, air which is caused by the difference between air pressure and the atmospheric pressure is called as Wind. Anything in motion moves from higher potential to the lower potential, similarly air moves from higher pressure to lower pressure. Higher the difference in pressure, faster the particles of air moves.
